Internship Details

About Internship:

We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven Sales Intern to join our excellent Sales team. The Sales Intern will complete all tasks assigned by the Manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible. You should be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
2. Visiting potential customers for new business
3. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations
4. Providing customers with quotations
5. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
6. Gathering market and customer information
7. Providing feedback on future buying trends
8. Representing your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
9. Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with your company's managers
10. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
11. Liaising with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders
12. Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock
13. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
14. Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience
