The MMS.IND Master Universe of Indian Consumers database comprises all individual Indians above 18 years of age, their family relationships and neighborhood affinities, profiled and segmented by their ‘mental life-style map and aspirations’ and their consumer behavior.

The German part of the Joint Venture looks back on 20 years of R&D developing leading edge industry support in customer segmentation based on life-style affinity, geo-based micro-market ratings and precision targeted advanced sales strategies. MMS.IND has international client relations and works mainly in the Financial Service Sector in India.

About the Job. This job offers working together with a highly qualified Big Data Business Analyst team and GIS Product Developer team on consumer data products for the Financial Service and Retail Industry on today's market segmentation approaches, micro- market data and systems and consumer profiling. The Data Analyst will be working on various MMS.IND client accounts (Banks, Retail, FMCG), and conduct analytics such as Product – Customer Affinities, Sales Data Analysis set against market profiles, Customer Risk Profiles, Optimal Branch / Outlet location analysis, Up-sell / Cross-sell customer identification, Regression Models etc.

Expected are excellent grasping ability to adapt to innovative market intelligence data production, the MMS.IND Market Intelligence Platform India. The data substance of the MMS.IND Market Intelligence Platform India defines the market genetics and buying potential, based on the consumer profiles for micro-markets. Strong understanding, execution and refining consumer segmentation and predictive modeling logics are subject to the job. At times this will incorporate interacting with members of MMS.IND client representatives. These are mainly Business Intelligence Units and Marketing and Sales Departments.


Job Requirements

• Strong analytical and technical capabilities and aptitude

• Statistical training/education

• Strong in SQL / relational database experience

• Proficient in Excel

• Intermediate / Advanced R skills

• Intermediate / Advanced Python programming skills

- Highly detail oriented, strong commitment to timely execution of tasks

• Sound understanding and knowledge of statistical concepts and tools

• Ability to work in a virtual environment

• Key Skills: Communication Skills, Creative Problem Solving, Critical Thinking Organizational Skills (Time Management & Prioritization),  Team Work and Collaboration

• Education: Masters from the following areas of studies: Computer Science, Statistics, Actuary

• Computer Science (B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A./M.B.A.)
