Do you have what it takes to be a copywriter? 

 As a junior copywriter you will be responsible for generating stand-alone copy, or text to complement visual concepts created by an art director, across many platforms, including Websites, mobile apps, emails, social media, blogs, marketing materials, press and print advertising, brochures, videos and others

 The role of a junior copywriter:

Ø Understanding the message the client is seeking to deliver and translating this into attractive copy

Ø Writing perfect, pleasing copy that will engage the reader

Ø Receiving feedback and using it to grow and improve as a copywriter

Ø Understanding client specifications to craft copy that is bang on brand

Ø Working with an art director to devise creative strategies

Ø Keeping copy consistent and identifiable for each client

Ø Producing creative ideas for innovative campaigns

 Skills required:

Ø The ability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy

Ø Experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct

Ø A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of clients

Ø The ability to meet deadlines and work in a pressurised environment

Ø Great organisational skills

Ø An eye for detail and a desire for perfection

Ø Strong research skills that ensure all copy is correct and accurate

Ø A passion for writing and the willingness to learn from other creative professionals

Working patterns usually conform to regular office hours. However, there is occasionally the need to be available early or late in the day to maintain the agency’s output and reliability.

Note: You will be trained directly by a senior writer.
